'Vedic Yoga Studio' by Reetu Mehta has an interesting event on Thursday 14th April, 2016.

Ms Shannon Handa will be coming to teach at our studio to share with us her style of yoga as she travels across the globe teaching and experiencing different styles and techniques taught around the world in different yoga studios.

It's the pleasure of 'Vedic yoga studio by Reetu Mehta' to have her, and be chosen by her in her endeavour to spread the message of yoga around the world.

Her class is appropriate for all levels.
Beginners will learn to build a strong foundation, so that they can move with confidence and clarity.

Advanced students will be able to create more awareness and refinement, while exploring multiple access points and transitions.
Everyone will walk away with a deeper awareness and understanding of their breath, body, and practice.

Hi Yogis,
My name is Shannon Handa & I’m a RYT-500 yoga teacher from San Francisco, California. I created a project called 'Yoga Across the Globe', in which I’m traveling to different countries to teach and practice yoga, because I’m sure there is so much to learn about how we’re all on this journey together.

When I came across Vedic Yoga, I really resonated with Reetu’s yoga philosophy. As the practice is not about making shapes that fit into a certain mold, but about finding your own sense of balance and work in each class because truly everyone’s practice is unique. I also thought it would be interesting to partner with Reetu because she received her yoga education in India and has created her own niche at Vedic Yoga, which would be a wonderful learning opportunity for everyone!

In the class that I will teach on Thursday 14th April, I aim to present students with the tools to feel empowered, vibrant, and compassionate towards themselves and others.
