‘Chair yoga’ is a great way for older adults, also those with less mobility, knee or back injuries, and those who can’t sit on the floor to exercise, to get the wonderful health benefits of yoga.
Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that can be done while sitting. Some poses will also be done standing using a chair for support.
Chair yoga can improve your flexibility, loosen and stretch painful muscles and joints , reduce stress, and improve blood circulation and better your concentration.
Even those who are fit, but have a desk job or a routine that demands you to be sitting more often, can come to learn, to practise this form of yoga.
So please join me in the Downstairs Jain temple Hall for ‘Chair Yoga’ together. 🙏
